Two days of packrafting in the stunning Biesbosch

The Packraft Trail is an adventure accessible to everyone. In collaboration with Staatsbosbeheer, we’ve developed several routes to explore this incredible area.

Discover the beauty and tranquillity of this unique wetland landscape as you make your way through hidden creeks, small islands and lush willow forests. Along the way, you might even spot beavers, white-tailed eagles or other wildlife.

Choose between a shorter or longer route, depending on your fitness level. The standard route combines approximately 24 km of hiking and 20 km of packrafting.

Loop 1: Jantjesplaat – Deenseplaat

On Loop 1, you’ll explore the beautiful Brabantse Biesbosch, combining hiking and packrafting along the way. In the evening, gather around a cosy campfire with your fellow packrafters and unwind in the heart of De Biesbosch.

For this loop, you can choose to drive the first 4 km to the starting point or cover that extra distance on foot.

  • Hike: between 10km and 16km (+ 4km each way)
  • Packraft: 4km on the water

Tip: Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife! With a bit of luck, you might spot beavers, white-tailed eagles, ospreys or even free-roaming Highland cattle and water buffalo along the way.

  • Packraft: 6km or 8km on the water

Period

The Packraft Trail Biesbosch season runs from June to September, with arrivals on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Your stay

  • Our package includes one night at basecamp between the two days of the adventure.

    You can bring your own camping gear or rent it from us.

  • Located in the heart of the national park, our basecamp is the starting and finishing point for both days. The campsite has basic facilities, including toilets, showers and a cosy campfire area.

  • You can also choose to spend an extra night at the campsite before or after your adventure. Or both, of course!

Travel light: your gear stays at camp while you’re out exploring. You only carry the backpack we provide, with your packraft, accessories, water and food for the day.

Food & drinks

  • When booking your two-day micro-adventure, you can add an Adventure Foodpack (vegetarian or meat). Enjoy tasty, nutritious meals throughout your adventure without having to worry about grocery shopping!

     

    The foodpack includes 2 lunches, 1 dinner and snacks. You’ll also enjoy a fresh breakfast at basecamp, included in your overnight stay. Prepare your meals with the cooking set we provide, while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

     

    Your cooking set includes:

    • 1 gas stove
    • 1 gas can

  • We’ll provide you with all the packrafting equipment you’ll need for the trip.

  • We’ve put together a packing list that includes all the essentials for your adventure.

Booking conditions

  • Standard – Minimal flexibility

    • If you cancel at least 30 days before your trip starts, you’ll receive a refund of 50% of the total trip cost.
    • If you cancel at least 14 days before your trip starts, you’ll receive a refund of 25% of the total trip cost.
    • If you cancel less than 14 days before your trip starts, no refund will be issued.

  •  Superflex – Moderate flexibility 

    • Free cancellation up to 90 days before your trip starts.
    • If you cancel between 89 and 30 days before your trip starts, you’ll receive a refund of 50% of the total trip cost.
    • If you cancel between 29 and 14 days before your trip starts, you’ll receive a refund of 25% of the total trip cost.
    • If you cancel less than 14 days before your trip starts, no refund will be issued.

  • Ultimate Flex – Maximum flexibility

    • Free cancellation up to 60 days before your trip starts.
    • If you cancel less than 60 days before your trip starts, you’ll receive a refund of 60% of the total trip cost.
